Employs the same sound at the beginning, middle or end of consecutive words. A repeated consonant is called consonance; repeated letters at the beginning of consecutive words are alliteration. A repeated vowel sound is assonance. You don’t have to repeat the sound just at the beginning of a word. A Sound Repeater helps you maximize sound-symbolic letters in descriptions. I count rhyming as the ultimate Sound Repeater, since it repeats ultimate (last) sounds.
