Infinite legs

 

Instead of merely noting that her legs are long, I say they “go on forever.” The statement is not literally true; her legs do not extend infinitely. But I’m not lying, either. I’m just exaggerating. Not literally true, not a lie. Therefore, a trope: hyperbole.
